Preferred shipping is by air cargo from Salt Lake City airport (SLC). Live delivery is guaranteed on direct domestic flights from SLC to your airport. Live delivery can be guaranteed with other shipping only if specifically agreed to and indicated on invoice. E-mail and FAX orders are OK but must be confirmed by phone before actual shipping. Shipping costs are paid by customer and shipment will be sent freight collect (Except Delta DASH*).
Any DOA claims must be filed by phone or e-mail on date of arrival. Cover any DOAs with salt until dry and return to African Lake by least expensive mail. Upon receipt of DOAs by African Lake credit will be applied to credit card account or a refund check will be sent. Live delivery guarantee does not apply if fish are not picked up by customer within 3 hours of arrival.
If DOAs result from extreme shipping delays by carrier, carrier is responsible for compensation to customer. Boxes and heat packs are provided at no charge.
* Delta DASH shipments are always prepaid and will be charged to customer on invoice.
